Michelle is a RYT 200 certified yoga teacher and a certified spin instructor. Michelle has always had an active lifestyle, which has included everything from dance to martial arts. After a sports injury that limited her mobility, she had a hard time finding a workout that did not cause pain. After trying yoga and adding in strength exercises, she has been able to live a somewhat pain-free life, and loves educating others to do the same.
In late 2020, her favorite local yoga, barre and spin studios closed. She was enticed by offering outdoor classes that are affordable and accessible to others. After seeing the same business model not fitting in post-COVID times, she decided to open her own Outdoor yoga studio.
When Michelle isn't teaching yoga or spin, she can often be found drinking at some of her favorite local breweries.
Outdoor Om was founded in early 2021 by Michelle. Our mission is to create an accessible local yoga and fitness community. We practice outdoors and in well-ventilated spaces in order to allow for the feeling of community. Join Outdoor Om for either a virtual or outdoor class! No studio, no problem!
